Pediatric Home Health Therapy
In 2003, Cortney Baker made it her life’s mission to provide the best quality home health services to children with special needs, through speech, occupational and physical therapies. KidsCare Therapy started as a home-based business, but has since expanded to 5 offices that serve pediatric patients in the Dallas, Ft. Worth, Waco, Tyler, Austin and San Antonio areas.
After the first year, Cortney moved her business into leased office space. As KidsCare grew over the next few years, so did her need for additional space and the hunt for a permanent home began. When she and her husband, Jason, started looking into financing, they immediately rejected the idea of a SBA loan due to the volume of paperwork they thought was needed. They started looking into traditional financing but with the encouragement from a new banker, they contacted Greg Dunn at GTCC.
With Greg’s help and the SBA 504 loan program, Cortney saved over $200,000 compared to conventional financing requirements on her down payment for the KidsCare’s 22,000 square foot building in Addison.
